We're Austin and Sarah Rooper, and together we make up Rooper's Stories.

This business is our entire heart and soul in action. We've had this dream since we were little, we took the leap of faith to pursue it, and the Lord has blessed us beyond our wildest imagination. We love to travel and document all the moments along the way, but we love people the most. We're a husband and wife team, and that's by choice: intentional, thoughtful, scrappy dreamers, always down for adventure, and willing to go the extra mile to over-deliver and over-serve our clients. We're boutique, and we give every client all of ourselves.

Our biggest desire is to create lifelong working partnerships, and genuine friendships, with the people we work with. It's more than just a job to us. We hope to be a light, a blessing, and to serve our clients through the work we create for years to come. We thrive on partnership, and we enjoy nothing more than sitting down with a client to dream up a vision for their community or business, and then getting to bring it to life together.

We love the ocean more than anything; it's home to us. So is the South, and the sun, and road trips with the windows down and the music loud. We love dogs, and Jesus, and coffee, and trying a new coffee shop in every town we pass through. We love conversation, and slowing down to enjoy life, because it's a gift and tomorrow isn't promised. We love laughing and documenting all of it along the way, the art of a handwritten note and snail mail, and the feeling of watching a cinematic masterpiece for the first time, or the twentieth. (Father of the Bride, we're looking at you.)

We're honored you're here, we're excited to get to know you, and we hope we can create something really beautiful and really meaningful together. When you choose Rooper's Stories, it directly impacts our little family, and we could never thank you enough for your trust and faith in us. We're proud of what we're building, and, most of all, we're grateful for you. When we dreamed up this business for our family, these are exactly the relationships and stories we hoped we'd get to tell. We believe in telling the stories of the people and places that go untold, with the creativity and vision they deserve. We're documentary filmmakers with a heart for storytelling, for people, for community, and for taking the time to be in a place and sit with the people in it long before the cameras ever start rolling. That, to us, makes all the difference, and we hope you feel it in the work we make together.
